You might consider pulling the seats before you put the frame back in. It gives so much better access as you can comfortab ly kneel on the floor and avoid playing contortionist. Four bolts and a wiring harness removes each seat.

Good luck! I was too scared of breaking the rain rail and never attempted to replace mine.

I debated that before removal. Your probably right.

New one is got has a new rain rail pre installed. Old one definitely breaks on removal.

It makes access so much more pleasant.

Always buy a replacement top with a new rain rail attached from the factory. There is about a zero percent chance of removing the old rail without breaking it, and drilling out the (very large) rivets and placing new ones costs more in added labor than the cost of the factory attached rail option on the new top.

Honestly, my fear is going all give a mouse a cookie with it. Whi le I got the seats out, I might as well rip out and shampoo the carpet...

Yeah I think I had a cheap Robbins top, didn't have the rain rail on it.

Yeah I definitely wouldn't do it that way again lol, it was just the cheapest aftermarket top I could find online and then I was too scared to ever install it.
